Visiting Nurse Association will be presenting on their services.
Join Us for an Informative Session on End-of-Life Planning and VNA Services
I invite you to join me on Wednesday, February 12th, beginning at 5:30 pm in the Community Hall for an informative and insightful session. I will be joined by Jamie Keller, a social worker from the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Hanover and Spring Grove, to explore practical steps you can take to prepare for the future.
During this session, Jamie will walk us through essential end-of-life paperwork, both medical and legal, that the state of Pennsylvania recommends. We will cover topics such as:
· Advanced Directives
· Medical Power of Attorney
· Living Wills
· Health Care Proxies
· Health Care Power of Attorney
· Do Not Resuscitate Orders
· POLST (Pennsylvania Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment)
In addition, Jamie will explain the comprehensive services offered by the VNA of Hanover & Spring Grove, including how their Home Health and Hospice programs provide personalized care at home—whether for recovery from illness or injury, or navigating end-of-life care.
This class is FREE and open to all residents of Amblebrook, whether or not you've attended my previous "What Do I Do Now?" sessions. To ensure we have enough materials, please sign up on the portal.
I hope you will join us to learn how the VNA can support you or your loved ones with compassionate, high-quality care in the comfort of your own home and prepare for your future while obtaining information, on legal and financial documents needed.
See you there!
